Rapid Images employees gain more self-leadership and freedom over their own work with Huma

William Humlehagen has been HR Manager at Rapid Images for three years and helped implement Huma in the company. They work with a large, international client base, creating digital experiences for, among others, manufacturers of the world's largest trucks.
- "We're proud to call Gothenburg home, but our workplace is truly international," says William.

Rapid Images has built a culture where employees are empowered to experiment, learn and grow in their roles, because they believe that's how innovation flourishes. Now, they're using Huma to support this - so we thought it was a good time to have a conversation with them about this.

From many systems to one

Rapid Images had many different systems managing different parts of their day-to-day operations. This was creating a lot of uncertainty and the need to bring everything together in one place became clear. William and Rapid Images investigated several different systems and were eventually referred to Huma by a contact.

"We had several different systems for different functions. With Huma, the opportunity to gather everything in one place opened up."

"We had several different systems for different functions. Huma opened up the opportunity to bring everything together in one place, including many functions that go beyond the 'traditional' HR systems,"says William.

And they've certainly done that. William says they make extensive use of employee surveys, employee handbook, salary review, non-conformity management, reporting, reminders, appraisals and much more.

The flexibility and wide range of functions made it possible to gather everything in one place - which was ultimately decisive for the choice of Huma.

Modules that put employees first

Getting started with Huma was easy and smooth, according to William. "Getting Huma up and running was simple and self-paced and very user-friendly from an administrative perspective." In other words, Rapid Images did most of the work themselves. At the same time, help was never far away when it was needed. "Always ready to help when needed - quickly and efficiently," William says of Huma's support.

"We use both eNPS and proprietary surveys every month."

Now they've been using Huma for a while, they're already seeing how the workday has become easier. William highlights two modules in particular that have been especially valuable - and Surveys is one of them.

"It's the module we've used the most - and at the same time it was completely new to us," says William, and shares that it's a module that gives them an overview of, among other things, employee satisfaction and the opportunity to closely follow developments. This makes it easier to take action if the trend turns out to be negative. "We use both eNPS and proprietary surveys every month."

The second module William mentions is Meetings. Previously, they used Word for meetings - all the way from preparation, to documents for the questions during the meetings and summaries afterwards. At Rapid Images, they now use the module to set goals and KPIs at the beginning of the year, and then follow up on them towards the end of the year. "We can ask the same questions every time, but obviously adapt them if necessary," says William, adding that it ensures efficient procedures and that everyone is working from the same starting point.

Finally, William says Huma has helped them create efficient workflows, as well as increased self-leadership and ownership of their role among employees. "It helps both managers and employees to succeed." We are very happy to hear that! Thank you very much for that - and for a nice conversation!
