Monthly surveys and simple internal news for Munu

Munu offers a range of SaaS services to the hospitality industry, including payment solutions. The company is headquartered in Stavanger and has offices in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stockholm and Katowice. Elisabet Søyland is Head of People and she describes Munu as an exciting place to work, constantly finding new solutions to adapt to the rapid scaling of the business.

Industry: Digital payment systems
Size: 93 employees

When delivering streamlined services, it's good to work in a streamlined way yourself, and although Munu wasn't struggling with anything specific, they realized that an HR system would make their job easier. "We needed a platform where we could gather all our HR-related information," Elisabet says of the choice.

A choice based on simplicity

When we ask Elisabet what made them choose Huma, she quickly replies: "Huma offered simplicity, clarity and features that met our needs well." And simplicity is something they already experienced when implementing their new HR system.

"Because the system is so intuitive, it went very smoothly."

For Munu, the employee handbook was an important thing to have in place. They already had a platform in place, but it wasn't very well suited to the handbook. Therefore, the implementation of Huma started with getting this right. It may seem like a lot of work, but it actually went quite smoothly for Elisabet and the rest of Munu. "Because the system is so intuitive, it went very smoothly," she says.

"Both in terms of the purchasing process and the implementation, they did most of it themselves, but there was some dialog and some questions. Elisabet says that support was always quick at the lab when questions arose and that the dialog throughout the process was good.

Monthly surveys - without any hassle

It has now been six months since Munu started using Huma and they have realized that it is good to have a base for everything in HR administration. When it comes to the modules, there are three in particular that have been particularly helpful.

The news module is used every month. Elisabet says it's the easiest way for her to ensure that important internal news reaches all employees. She adds that they have a relatively good readership rate of 80%, but that they would like it to be even higher.

"I am interested in how employees feel at work and regularly take the pulse of how satisfied they are."

The Survey module is also used every month. It's a module that Elisabet knew she would love even before Munu started using Huma. "I'm interested in how my employees feel at work and I regularly take the pulse of employee satisfaction," says Elisabet.

The last of the three modules is the staff handbook. It saves her a lot of time answering questions about what's going on in the company. Now employees can easily find it themselves - in a handbook where they can search for exactly what they want to know.

Elisabet admits that she hasn't used the Meeting module as much as she would like yet, but that she will be using it a lot more in the future - and that it will make daily meetings much easier.

We look forward to hearing how it goes. Thanks for a nice chat, Elisabet and Munu!
