Insight in Huma

How many did we hire this year? How is our gender balance? How many people are we right now? With Huma you get quick and easy access to key numbers about your organisation.

In Huma, the “Insights” feature provides quick access to critical HR metrics and demographic data for your organization. With Insights, you can view essential statistics such as employee headcount, new hires and employment status, either across the entire company or for specific teams

 

In Huma you can easily find key figures about your employee demographics

Hover over the different graphs for more details.

  • Age distribution
  • Gender distribution
  • Average age
  • Nationalities
  • Number of employees
  • Number of new employees (this year)
  • ... and more

 

 

 

Required role to handle the insight module

You can access the Insights module through either a User role or a System role.

What the numbers are based on

  • Everyone with an active position today. 

  • When an employment start date is missing, it will be interpreted as a date in the past and the future, respectively.

  • The Insights are based on Real-time analytics and cannot be filtered by period. 

  • Contract type insights now reflect the number of positions. These section will be marked with "The numbers reflect the number of positions for each employee."

 

 

Exclude users from Insights

Users with a "System role with Full access to Users" can exclude users from insights. 

  1. Go to the "People module"
  2. Click on the employee you want to exclude
  3. Navigate to the "three dots" in the top right corner
  4. Click "Exclude from Insights"
  5. You can always exclude users again by following the same steps.

 

 

 

 

List users who are excluded from Insights

You can now access a list of employees who have been excluded from Insights.

  1. Go to the "Insights module"
  2. Navigate to "What are the numbers based on"
  3. Click on "x users are excluded" to view the list of excluded users

Are the insights updated automatically?

Yes, the analytics within insights are updated automatically and available real time. However, sometimes it might take a few minutes for the data to sync. Note that only users with the right permissions can use this module.

Can analytics be exported? 

No, but feel free to take a screenshot of the statistics and send out as a report. Note that only users with the right permissions can use this module.

Is there a way to create custom dashboards or reports? 

Not at this time, but we are working on more features and will update as the roadmap is available. If there's something you need that we don't offer today, you can register your request on our roadmap.

Is is possible to retrieve data from previous periods? 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to retrieve historical data from Huma. Currently, you can only generate reports based on real-time data.
