What is News in Huma?
The News module lets you publish internal news articles and share them with all employees or specific groups. Articles appear in the News module and on the dashboard, and employees can be notified by push notification or email when new articles are published.
Articles can contain text, images, videos (YouTube and Vimeo), links and emojis. You can organise articles with tags and generate a table of contents automatically from the article's headings.

What can you use News for?
News in Huma is designed for internal communication, anything you want to share with all employees or specific groups. Some common examples:
- Company announcements and updates
- New hires and farewells
- Policy changes and important reminders
- Event invitations
- Team or department updates
- Celebrating achievements and milestones
Notifications
When publishing or updating a news article, you can choose to send a notification to employees. Notifications can be sent by push and/or email.
💡 Employees must have "News article published" turned on in their notification settings to receive news notifications.
The notification is sent to:
- All employees — if the article is shared with everyone
- Members of the relevant groups — if the article is shared with specific groups

You can see how many employees have read each article directly in the News module.
