#5  2025: Employee appraisals with even more value

With our updates to Employee Appraisals, we gather everything in one place: Preparations, execution and documentation.

Making preparations easier and meetings more valuable

Both managers and employees can now contribute, take notes, and ensure a common understanding. The result? More valuable conversations and better follow-up.

What's new:

Employee Appraisal 2.0 is a complete upgrade of the meeting module, designed for better preparation, sharing, and documentation:

✅ Both managers and participants can add private and shared notes.
✅ Notes and comments on the agenda can be prepared in advance and shared when both are ready.
✅ After the meeting, the notes are locked as shared documentation, while private notes remain private.
✅ Everything is stored securely and is easy to find for the next conversation.

Why we created this

Employee appraisals are among Huma’s most used features — yet many still turned to external tools for prep and note-taking. Based on your feedback, this update adds better prep tools and shared ownership of the meeting.

Benefits for you

  • Everything in one place — secure, structured, and easy to revisit
  • Smarter prep — both managers and employees can add their own notes
  • More balanced meetings — shared input means shared ownership
  • Clear summary — agreed actions and responsibilities, documented

Employee appraisals 2.0 are available now on web and mobile. Ready to take your conversations to the next level.
