#6 2025: Activity log, competence update and more

Never miss a thing in Huma again. Our new release keeps you updated on all the little things managers and employees do in Huma. Now managers can add skills to their team members — and employees can easily add their own too.

Stay updated on all the big and small things people do in Huma

The days of double-checking things like your team’s account numbers are over. Huma’s new activity log gives you a clear overview of all the big and small events, changes, and actions your people make in Huma.

If you’re looking for something specific, you can easily filter by different types of information. You’ll save time checking whether someone, for example, changed their account number between pay runs — and at the same time build more trust in the company by eliminating unnecessary mistakes.

The competence module’s got a boost

Before, only admins could add skills for employees. Not anymore. Now team leaders can get more control over their department by adding skills for their people. And that’s not all — employees can add their own skills too. This makes it even easier to place the right people on the right projects.

Why did we do this?

Many companies — especially large ones — struggle with people making changes to their Huma profiles without notifying admins. This can lead to errors, for example in payroll. Now we’re launching the activity log, which keeps you updated on such changes and other actions your people take in Huma.

With the Competence updates, managers get better oversight of their team, and employees gain more ownership of their role. Project managers also have an easier time setting up teams for different projects.

Some other things we’ve been tinkering with

✅ Managers are notified if employees want to keep their birthday private
