ISO 27001 is in the bag – the security experts have certified us

Security certifications aren't the most exciting thing we do at Huma. But they're among the most important. We're proud to announce that Huma is now ISO 27001 certified. Here's what that means for you as a Huma user.

Security has always been a top priority here at Huma. Our users can sleep well at night, knowing that their digital security is taken seriously. And now you can be even more confident that it is. That's because we've been awarded ISO 27001 certification - one of very few Nordic HR systems to do so.

What is ISO 27001 and what does it mean for you as a Huma user?

One thing it certainly isn't is nail-biting excitement. It's simply a bit boring, but that doesn't mean it's not important. In fact, it's really important.

So what is it? ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security, and proof that we are up to date with the standard. It means structured processes, clear policies and active risk management. ISO certification is also a promise to be a little better every year than the year before.

So what does it mean for you? Quite simply, it means you don't have to lie awake at night worrying about your sensitive data going astray. Everything you store in Huma is stored securely, and you can rest assured that it is. It's important to deliver a good product, but it's even more important to ensure that the people behind the product handle your data safely behind the scenes.

This also means that we at Huma must constantly improve our digital security, no matter how safe it becomes. If we don't, we get a slap on the wrist from an independent third party who regularly monitors that we are doing what we should.

So yes, Huma has always been safe, but now it's officially even safer. Read more about it here.
