Plug'n'play integration with NAV
We’re excited to announce that the sick leave process in Huma is now fully automated. For Norwegian employees, sick leave notes from doctors will automatically create a corresponding sick leave entry in Huma.
Our integration with NAV/Altinn directly imports sick leave notes from NAV into Huma. This means no more manual data entry—just accurate, up-to-date records with fewer errors.
This integration not only saves time for HR and Admin teams but also ensures compliance and improves employee satisfaction by speeding up benefit processing and making sick leave management simpler.
How It Works:
- When an employee gets sick, they visit a doctor.
- The doctor issues a sick leave note, which is recorded in NAV.
- Huma automatically pulls in the sick leave note and creates a record.
- The manager is notified and a follow-up process begins.
- The absence information is instantly sent to the activated integrations that support absences (Tripletex, Webhooks, Visma and systems that support PAXml import).
With this new feature, managing sick leave becomes straightforward, fast, and reliable.

💰 Salary numbers -> Tripletex: Activate the Tripletex integration to effortlessly transfer salary figures stored in Huma directly into the payroll system. This feature is a significant time-saver, especially when completing salary revisions in Huma and updating all user salary data.
🧩 Netvisor integration: We finally have a plug-n-play integrations with the Finnish Payroll system Netvisor. It's easy to set up and data stored in Huma is automatically transferred to your Netvisor account. Minimal effort required.
📚 Download handbook as PDF: It's now possible to easily download the handbook in PDF format. The Handbook in Huma is a living document, and the content can be tailored to specific groups/departments within the organization.
🔗 Copy link to document: Easily share documents stored in Huma by copying the link to the specific document and pasting it wherever you need. Just a reminder, only individuals with access can view the document.
